Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book any of our services directly, online or by phone.
Is microsuction painful?
Most people find it comfortable. It is dry and low-pressure, and you will mostly notice a rushing sound. Tell us if anything feels uncomfortable and we’ll pause.
Should I use drops before ear wax removal?
Medicinal olive oil drops for two or three days can soften the wax and shorten the appointment. Helpful, not essential. Skip them if you have, or might have, a perforated eardrum or an ear infection.
Will I be sold a hearing aid?
No. LAC is independent, and plenty of hearing tests end with no device recommended at all.
Can I book for a parent?
Yes, and many appointments are booked this way. For aged care, give the facility name and room number when you book.
